Roslyn Swiss 79, of Suffern, N.Y. and a former longtime resident of Hartsdale, N.Y. died on December 21, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y. She was born on September 18, 1930 in NYC to the late Louis and Helen (nee Srater) Unger. Roslyn is survived by her devoted husband of almost 59 years, Arthur Swiss. She is also survived by her loving children; Eileen Krechman and her husband Alan of Stony Point, N.Y. Susan Morettini and her husband Remo of Valhalla, N.Y. and Elliot Swiss and his wife Jill, presently residing in Germany. Roslyn was the proud grandmother of Jennifer (Morettini) Bossert and her husband Steve, Brian Krechman and his wife Jenn, John Morettini, Casey, Mandie, and Sammy Swiss. Recently Roslyn was thrilled to become a great grandmother to Thatcher Krechman. Also surviving is her brother, Irving Unger of Boca Raton, Fla. Longtime residents of Hartsdale, N.Y., Roslyn and her husband Arthur moved to Orange County and then to Rockland County after retiring. She loved spending time with her family and was happiest when they were all together. She was an animal lover, an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, and playing cards in the evening with her husband. She had many dear friends and will be deeply missed by all. Funeral Services will be held at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y.
