Rosemary Caputo Power "Roe", 66, passed away unexpectedly and tragically Wednesday July 1, 2020 in Nyack Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in the Bronx NY, (Arthur Avenue), Daughter to Dominick and Anne Caputo. She graduated from Aquinas High School. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years Charles Wells, son John Power, daughter Alexis Whitmore, daughter-in-law Vanessa Donato, son-in-law Michael Whitmore, two grandsons, William Thomas Donato, John Connor Power, and soon to be Patrick Joseph Power (due 8/4/20), brother Dominic Caputo, sister-in-law Joanne Caputo, nephews Scott Caputo and Christopher Caputo and countless friends that were considered family to her, whom she loved just as much. When she left the Bronx, she moved to New City, NY to raise her two children. She worked at Dan Buckey Ford for 12 years as a Service Advisor and truly loved her job very much. Roe loved going to her "Happy Place", in Seaside Park, NJ where she made, and gifted us all with beautiful memories. She will be missed tremendously by those that knew, and loved her. Friends may call at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home in West Nyack, NY on Monday, July 6th from 4 PM to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 7th at 10 AM at St. Anthony's Church in Nanuet, NY, followed by entombment at St. Anthony's Church Cemetery.
