Our mama, nana, sister and friend, Rosemary (Corpora) Pace, went home to God on June 30, 2020.
"Rosie" was born on January 27, 1946 in the Bronx, NY. As one of 14 children, she had many brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly.
She was most proud of her time spent serving God with the Little Sisters of the Poor. She felt truly fulfilled being able to help those in need! Humility is her absolute most beautiful attribute and we are all so blessed to have had such a great example in our lives!
As a young woman, she moved to Tarrytown with her family and that is where she met her husband Al. She has remained a resident of Tarrytown ever since.
Rosie loved her family and friends with all the love she had to give!! She loved a good baseball or football game, poker night and penny social. She was an absolute presence.
Rosie was welcomed home by her adoring husband, Al, her mom and dad, Anne and Tony, her favorite Aunt Fina and her brothers and sisters, Charlie, Ginny, Tony, Dennis, Donald, Janie, and John. As well as so many angels who have gone before . There is no doubt a party going on in heaven!
Rosie is survived by her daughters, Leeann and Stephanie, her grandchildren, Nyelle, Francis, Livyia and Aleesa, and her brothers and sisters, Eddie, James, Celeste, Joanne, Annie, and Eileen.
She ended every phone conversation with "Enough about Rosie" (an old family joke) So, appropriately.....With all the love in our hearts, Enough about Rosie!
A mass will be held to celebrate Rosie on July 15, 2020 at 10:30am at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown, NY.
All are welcome. Please keep in mind that during this time, we are practicing social distance guidelines. Masks are required for the service.
