Rose Marie (Sansone) Seman

Rose Marie (Sansone) Seman passed away on June 10, 2019 at the age of 92.  She was born in Yonkers, NY on November 3, 1926 to Salvatore and Jeanne (Del Bene) Sansone. Rose Marie was married to the love of her life, Joseph, on November 20, 1949.  He predeceased her in 2002. They raised three daughters – JoAnn (Dennis) Brozowski, Patti Jean Misener and Rose Marie (Edward) Solan and she enjoyed being Nana to Kelly Colvin, William (Cassidy) Colvin and Tyler Brozowski.  She was also predeceased by her sister Anna Mae Skowronski and brother Samuel (Sonny) Sansone. She was a well known and well respected woman in the business community and had a stellar career in finance spanning well over 40 years.  For the last 20 of those years she was the owner and president of her own Mortgage Bank and Sales Finance companies. Rose Marie will be remembered as an astute business woman, but more importantly as a strong and loving mother and grandmother and as the tireless baker of her special Christmas cookies, which she lovingly made and shared with family and friends. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday 10:30 AM to 12 Noon. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY on Friday 12:30 PM. Entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN. would be appreciated.
