Rosemarie Mahony

Rosemarie Mahony 55, of Pleasantville, N.Y. died on July 12, 2011 at her residence. She was born on Oct. 20, 1955 to Albert and Marie (nee Tschoepl) Kauderer in Bronx, N.Y. Rosemarie worked at Sybaritic Ind. in Pleasantville, N.Y. as office mgr. of dinner-ware products. She is survived by her mother, Marie Kauderer (Valentine Capuder) of Valhalla, N.Y. her devoted husband, Michael Mahony of Pleasantville, N.Y., her loving children; Thomas A. Mahony also of Pleasantville, N.Y. and Kelley Mahony – Romanowicz (Bryan) of Purdys, N.Y. one brother, Kenneth (Deana) Kauderer of Brooklyn, N.Y. Also survived by her cherished grandson, Colin Michael Romanowicz. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 4-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Interment Private. Rosie will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, compassion and friendly personality. She ultimately lost her battle with cancer, but those who knew and loved her know it was not for lack of courage, optimism and fighting spirit, three traits she had in abundance. She will always be a source of inspiration to those who knew her best.
