Rosemarie Amicucci

Rosemarie Amicucci, Mother of Faith, Dies at 62. Rosemarie grew up in Bronx, New York. She was the daughter of an Italian mother and an Italian father, who were proud of their heritage. She was their only child. Rosemarie grew into a very beautiful young woman. She graduated Roosevelt High School in 1969 and graduated from FIT in 1972. She married John Amicucci and raised a family in Scarsdale, New York. As a homemaker, she spoke through her trade by teaching her sons manners, morals and respect. Ro's children are John Jr. (deceased), Dario and Michael. She was proud to see all three sons graduate college, get married and start families of their own. She took great joy in her six grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was her husband. Recently, they celebrated their 40th anniversary in Capri. Besides her family, Ro enjoyed watching football with her boys, collecting art, home decor and a very casual nine holes of golf. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27th and Sunday, December 28th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue, White Plains. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, December 29th at 10 am at St. Pius X followed by entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery.
