Rose (Spadaro) Taranto

Rose Taranto (Spadaro), 87, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Oct. 14, 2021. She was born on August 22, 1934 to the late Pietro and Mary (nee Castiglia) Spadaro in Brooklyn, N.Y.  She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, living life with no regrets.  She is predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony J. Taranto, who passed in 2014.  She is survived by her loving children, Jeanette Taranto and Maria Rohle (predeceased by her Husband, Edward) of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y., Joseph Taranto of Valhalla, N.Y., and also survived by her nine cherished grandchildren, Michael (Georgia) and Nicole Angelo, Christopher (Katie), Andrew and Joseph Rohle, and Stephanie and Claudia Taranto, and her cherished great grandchildren, Reese, Remi and Gloriana. She is also predeceased by her two sisters, Grace and Emma , and two brothers, Joseph and Frank.
She was always gracious and extremely respected and loved by all who knew her.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct.17, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
