Rose Micalizzi, 97, of Thornwood, NY died on June 20, 2014 at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. Rose was born on March 16, 1917 to the late Giuseppi and Angelina (nee Colantuno) Antonelli in New York City. Rose was predeceased by her devoted husband Anthony Joseph Micalizzi (1980)and her three deceased brothers and three deceased sisters. Rose is survived by her two loving daughters Rose Marie DeSanto of Rye, NY and Angie (Carlo) Castagna of Thornwood, NY. She is alos survived by her six cherished grandchildren and eight great grand children. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, Hawthorne, NY. Monday June 23, 2014 from 5-9PM. Services to be held on Tuesday 10am at the Ridgeway Church, White Plains , NY. Interment Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye, NY.
