Rose M. (Panzica) DiPierno

Rose M. DiPierno 90, of Ossining, N.Y. and formerly of Brooklyn and Howard Beach, N.Y. died on April 29,2019. She was born on Dec.25,1928 to the late Leonardo and Josephine (nee Bombara) Panzica in Brooklyn, N.Y. She had a great love for her family, the NY Mets and was an avid baseball fan. Rose was predeceased by her devoted husband, Anthony DiPierno in 1979 and also predeceased by her three brothers, Joseph, Al and Tony Panzica and by her two sisters, Marie Locicero and Jennie Nocera. Rose is survived by her loving children, Donna (Charles) Lombardi of Ossining, N.Y. and Alphonse (Barbara) DiPierno of Medford, NJ. also survived by her five cherished grandchildren, Anthony (Lori) DiPierno, Laura (Jeff) Orban, Gregory (Giselle) Lombardi, William and Grace Lombardi, and three great grandchildren, Anthony and Nicholas DiPierno and Emma Orban. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Augustine’s Church, Ossining, N.Y. on Saturday, 9:30 AM. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y.
