Rose Capolongo

Rose Carpenito Capolongo, 86, of Valhalla, N.Y. and formerly of White Plains, N.Y. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 7, 2012. She was born on Nov.30, 1925 to the late Felix and Antoinette (nee Ricciardelli) Carpenito in White Plains, N.Y. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Michael, two sisters, Vera and Tessie and five brothers; Dominick, Mario, Joe, Sonny and Guido. She is survived by her two loving children; Carol Capolongo Magnotta (John) of Stamford, Conn. and Anthony (Joanne) Capolongo of Valhalla, N.Y. Rose is also survived by her five cherished grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a sister, Angelina Magnotta, and brothers; Frank, Mitty, Anthony (Tony) and Raymond Carpenito and many nieces and nephews. Rose will be remembered for her kindness to all. The family will receive visitors at Our Lady of Mt.Carmel Church, White Plains, N.Y. on Monday 9:30- 10:30 AM. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
