Rosalind Holtz

Rosalind Holtz, a resident of Hartsdale, died on July 5, 2011. She was 79.

Mrs. Holtz was born on January 12, 1932 in New York City. For many years before her retirement she worked as a special education assistant for the NYC Public Schools.

She is survived by her sons, Eric and Steven, and her grandchildren, Jordan, Sydni, Brett, and Holly. She is pre-deceased by her husband Philip and her parents Morris and Ida (Fischer) Wolfson.

The family will be gathering Thursday 11:30am at Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services, 2 Maple Ave, White Plains, where a funeral service will be held at 12:30pm. Interment will be private. The family will be sitting shiva Thursday & Friday 3-7pm at the home of Eric Holtz, 1121 Knollwood Rd, White Plains.
