Ronald A. Sniffen

Ronald A. Sniffen 81, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on May 4, 2009 at Hebrew Hospital Home of Westchester. He was born on March 15, 1928 to the late Oscar and Nora (nee Ward) Sniffen in Somers, N.Y. Ronald was a Construction Labor Forman, and worked for Local 235 in Elmsford, N.Y. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Lena (nee Latino) Sniffen in 2007 and 2 brother's Thomas Edward and Harold Sniffen and 2 sister's Ahlene Gallagher and Emma McGrath. He is survived by his loving daughters; Rosemary Uzzo and her husband Frank of Hawthorne, N.Y. Susan Pomatico and her husband Thomas of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Ronda Perfito and her husband Michael of Valhalla, N.Y. 1 brother Irving Sniffen of Brewster, N.Y. Also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren; Frank, Danny and Scott Uzzo, Thomas and Nicole Pomatico and Michael and Jamie Perfito. And many nieces and nephews. He was a good friend to all his neighbor's and will be missed by his good friends Doris and Jimmy McGraw of Elmsford, N.Y. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday 11 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
