Roger Cooper of Hartsdale, NY crossed over on January 12, 2012. He was 55 years young.
Roger was born on February 12, 1956 in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. He migrated to the U.S. in 1990 and settled in Westchester County. He worked diligently as a Civil Engineer on several noteworthy projects in the area such as: the Westchester County Airport, the White Plains Middle School, and the Tarrytown train station. Despite a very tumultuous battle with cancer he worked up until the Monday before he passed, exhibiting his strength, dedication, and tenacity.
His family, close friends and co-workers will celebrate his life on February 4, 2012 at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church on 82 Prospect Street, White Plains, NY at 11am. Burial will occur at Kensico Cemetery located at 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla NY.
