Rogelio Gan was born in the Philippines on August 12, 1948. He was a loving and devoted husband to his surviving spouse, Crisanta Gan, amazing and supportive father to his children, Charina Mendez with spouse Michael Mendez and Rogelio N. Gan with spouse Tina Gan, and adoring grandfather to Colin Gan and Evangeline Mendez.
His humor and smile were infectious. He always had the perfect “dad” jokes, though some without thicker skin may not think so. He loved his family and close friends and he in turn was very much loved and appreciated. He would always greet anyone and everyone as “my friend”. He had a voracious love for all things food and no food was safe near him. His famous saying after he finished a meal and pushed his plate away… “I’m done and don’t want anymore”, while we would look at a completely empty plate.
While his loved ones will miss him dearly, he lived his 74 years of life the way he wanted to. Now he can reunite and enjoy eternity with the spirits and souls of his departed family and friends. May our Good Lord watch over him.
