Rocco Ciero 75, of White Plains, N.Y. died on April 1, 2011 at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. He was born on March 28, 1936 to the late Rocco and Anna (nee Scobo) Ciero in White Plains, N.Y. Rocco proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired owner operator of Valhalla's Corner Deli. Rocco was a member of the Thornwood American Legion Post and the Mt. Pleasant Italian American Club. He is survived by his devoted wife Louise (nee Santo) Ciero and his loving daughter Lisa Ciero both of White Plains, N.Y. and one brother, Pasquale Ciero. Predeceased by his two sisters; Philomena Casale and Anna Latino. No visiting hours. Funeral Mass, Our Lady of Sorrows Church, White Plains, N.Y. on Tuesday 11 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to Calvary Fund, Inc. P.O. Box 5173 Toms River, N.J. 08754 would be appreciated.
