Rocchina Riccio 81, of New Rochelle, N.Y. died on Sept.8, 2009 at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, N.Y. She was born on Feb.11, 1928 to the late Domenico and Angela (nee Celetti) Salierno in Guardia Dei Lombardi, Italy. Her family immigrated to the US in Feb. 1961, settleing in New Rochelle, N.Y. Rocchina was a very loving and caring person and she definitely went to heaven. She is survived by her
loving and dedicated husband Peter Riccio of New Rochelle, N.Y. whom she married on March 31, 1947. Her loving and dedicated daughter Geraldine Schmidt and her husband Richard of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. 1 brother Vincenzo Salierno of New City, N.Y. 1 step granddaughter Sara and 1 great grandson Cayson Richard. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Theresa's Church, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. on Saturday 10 AM.
