Robin S Doherty

Robin S. Doherty, of Elmsford, NY formally of Valhalla, NY, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016. She was 56 years old. Robin was born October 20, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter to the late Raimo and Miriam Rusanen. Robin had a beautiful smile and would always remind people to "be happy". She was an avid reader and loved to meditate. Robin was a loving mother and wife and cared for her family deeply. Surviving are her husband Thomas Doherty and their two children Thomas and Crystal Doherty. Two sisters Iris Radcliffe and Lori Rusanen also survive her.

A memorial service will be held at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home "Elmsford Chapel" Thursday, December 1, 2016 at from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
