Robert V. Rohan, Jr

Robert (Bob) V. Rohan, Jr. 59, of White Plains, N.Y. died suddenly on Dec.5, 2012. He was born on Nov. 10, 1953 to the late Robert and Janet (nee Roche) Rohan in Bronx, N.Y. Bob worked for the MTA in NYC. He was a longtime member of the NYC Transit Pipe and Drum Band and foster father to many. He enjoyed boating, fishing, woodworking and the Yankees, most of all cherished time spent with his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Denise (nee Bartlett) Rohan, his loving children, Megan, Siobhan, Robert III and James all of White Plains, N.Y. two sisters, Erin Downey and Mary (Brian) Fearon both of West Palm Beach, Fla. one brother, Daniel (Margie) Rohan of Bronx, N.Y. also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Monday, 7-9 PM and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers a trust fund is being established for the education of Robert Rohan III.
