Robert "Roubik" Khadjehturian, age 86 of Hartsdale, NY, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2020. He was born in Tehran, Iran and immigrated to America in 1965. He and Terrez Chookhachian married in 1967 and raised their 3 daughters in White Plains, NY.

Roubik is predeceased by his wife, Terrez Khadjehturian, and daughter, Frieda Khadjehturian Coppola, and siblings, Michael "Sebou" Khachetoorian and Clara Sarkissian. He is survived by his daughters Linda Khadjehturian Troisi (and son-in-law Brian Troisi) and Tina Khadjehturian (and daughter-in-law Rachele Khadjehturian); sisters Janet Mirzayan, Juliet Chookhachian, and Anahid Aslanian; and his grandchildren Shelby, Lucas and Kai.

Roubik was a gentle soul with a heart of gold and was adored by all who knew him. He exuded warmth and kindness, and found humor and beauty even in the simple things. He had a deep passion for all types of music and art and took up painting as a hobby for some time. When he first came to America, he worked various odd jobs. It was his work as a movie projectionist that inspired in him a love of film.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and sibling. A proud Armenian, Roubik had strong ties to the church and found great comfort there. His faith was profound and he greatly valued the kinship of the community. He was truly a special person and will be greatly missed.

Out of an abundance of caution due to Covid-19, we are limiting services to family members. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support through this difficult time.
