Robert E. Grace

Robert E. Grace 62, of Valhalla New York passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 18, 2015. He was born in New York City at St. Vincents Hospital on October 17, 1952 and was raised in Rego Park Queens. Bob graduated from SUNY Westbury with a degree in Business Management. Bob held various management positions during his career, most recently with Williams Lea and Swiss Post. Bob married the love of his life, Joan Morrissey, in November 1991. He was a loving father to his daughters, Amelia & Bridget. Family vacations were spent fishing and bogey boarding with them off the waters of Wellfleet, Cape Cod. Bob was an ardent Yankee fan and a master builder of lionel train layouts during the Christmas holidays. He was active in the Holy Name of Jesus CYO, including his daughters CYO basketball teams. Bob will be greatly missed by his family including his sister Ginny, husband Tom Monahan, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother George and parents Margaret and George Grace. Family will receive friends at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday 4-8PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, NY on Tuesday 10AM.
