Rob was a true Renaissance man- brilliant, creative, passionate. He ran the Boston marathon, was a 2nd degree black belt in karate, and a boxing champ at Fort Jackson Army Base. Rob was an excellent photographer, cabinet maker, and wood finisher. He was a freshwater fisherman and ardent environmental chemist. Rob was a lifelong NY Yankee and NY Jets fan, and a kind, fair, and caring little league baseball and softball coach. He loved Shakespeare and classical and country music. He loved to solve word jumbles, math problems, play along with Jeopardy each night, and so much more. Above all Rob was the most loving, caring and devoted dad, husband, uncle, brother-in-law, brother, and friend. We are so lucky and blessed to have had him in our lives. We hold him in our hearts always. His spirit lives on in us. "Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord". (Psalm 31:24 KJV)
