Rita A. (Cassano) Marano

Rita A. Marano 67, of Ardsley and Mt. Vernon, N.Y. died on Jan. 25, 2019. She was born on May 9, 1951 to Salvatore and Lucille (nee Santore) Cassano in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Rita was a waitress for many years at Pizza in the Square in Yonkers, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Ronald G. Marano in 2016 and is survived by her loving children, James (Laura) Marano of Orlando, FL and Valerie (Mark) Gryzlo of Valhalla, N.Y. three sisters, Catherine Toolan of Tarrytown, N.Y., Linda Cassano of White Plains, N.Y. and Jean (Donald) Katz of Mahopac, N.Y. also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Patrick Gryzlo and Derek Marano and several loving nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 10 AM. Interment, Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, N.Y.
