Richard W. Strahan

Richard W. Strahan 83, of Wallkill, N.Y. and formerly of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. died on Aug.12,2019. He was born on April 28, 1936 to the late Richard and Mary (nee Lampel) Strahan in Yonkers, N.Y. Richard was a retired Electrical Engineer with Loral Electronics Systems in Bronx, N.Y. He loved Classical Music and his dogs. He is survived by his devoted wife, Eileen (nee Wilkie) Strahan of Wallkill, N.Y. and his loving children, Richard Strahan of Buffalo, N.Y., Jeremy Strahan of Wallkill, N.Y., Carolyn Strahan of Walden, N.Y. and Correne Strahan of Wallkill, N.Y. also survived by his two cherished grandchildren, Kyla and Rachel Lastowski. Reposing at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 10 AM-11AM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow.
