Richard D Gizzi

Richard David Gizzi, Sr. 76, of Armonk, New York passed away on January 16, 2013 surrounded by his family and loved ones. Richard was born in Yonkers, New York on December 29, 1936 to Domenico and Leondina Gizzi. He was predeceased by his brothers, Falco, Marino and John Gizzi and sister Ann Perillo. Richard is survived by his daughter Lee Ann Gizzi-Davis and Josh Davis, Richard and Donna Gizzi Jr. He was also survived by his grandchildren, Taylor, Skylar and Cole Davis, Anthony, Julia and Isabella Gizzi. Also surviving are Constance and Nicholas Mastro, his sisters, Mary Melillo, Jean Wilkinson, and Rose Cesarotti, and brother Vincent Gizzi (Laura Gizzi). In 1971 Richard founded ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. a leading professional construction organization in the Metropolitan area. Richard went on to form ECCO Development LLC, building and managing various real estate properties with his son, Richard Gizzi, Jr. Richard was a loving father, devoted grandfather and a wonderful friend to many, he will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday January 19th, 2013 at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains, from 2 PM to 5PM and 7PM to 9PM. Cremation will be private.
