Richard J. Cozza of Ossining died December 28, 2005, he was 60. He was born in Mount Vernon, NY to John and Jeannette Cozza. He served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1966 followed by service in the reserves. He was stationed in Cuba and was also a Vietnam Veteran.
Richard was a plumbing contractor and co-owner of Cozza & Son's Plumbing and Heating in Tuckahoe. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
Richard is survived by his wife, Debra, his daughter Denise (John) Cherico, his son Richard (Erika) Cozza and his grandchildren John Cherico and Aidan Cozza. He is also survived by his brothers Jack (Anita) and Michael (Peninnah) along with their families his aunt, Josephine Cardillo and his uncle Joseph (Gloria) Cozza.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday January 2, 2006 at 10am at St. Bernard's Church Prospect Avenue White Plains. Friends may call Saturday from 2-4pm and Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway White Plains, NY.
