Richard S. Ambrogio 70, passed away on the 11th October 2016. He resided in White Plains, NY since 1978.
His passing will leave a hole in the hearts of his family and friends, but his spirit will live on in all of those whose lives he impacted with his kindness and generosity. He was born in New York, New York, on the 14th of April 1946 to John and Joyce Ambrogio, he was the first of three children, and he is survived by his wife Joy, sisters Alayne and Laura and Brother-in-law Jens. And From New Zealand his Mother-in-law Carol, his brother-in-law Gary and Cherie, brother-in-law Bryan and wife Michelle, sister-in-law Kerri and husband Alan. His nieces Sarah, Gemma, Caley, Codie, Kristen and Megan and nephew Scott. Great nephews Deakin and Brayson and Great nieces Ruby and Lily.
He received his Associates Degree from St. Peters College. He was employed in the transportation field since he graduated high school. He loved to travel on trains across America. He loved to work in our train room and would be in there for hours.
Arrangements are being handled by Ballard-Durand Funeral Home at 2 Maple Avenue in White Plains, with visitations on Friday, October 14th, from 9-10am followed by the Funeral Service at 10am-11am.
We wish to thank all staff from the ER, CCU and the 5th Floor All Comfort Care Unit at the White Plains Hospital for their wonderful support and care that they gave Richard and his family.
