Raymond L. Leonardo 83, of Hawthorne, N.Y. and formerly of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. died on Dec. 31, 2010. He was born on Feb. 17, 1927 to the late John and Madeline (nee Boggi) Leonardo in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. Ray was owner operator of Ray Leonardo & Sons Printing in Valhalla, N.Y. He was a former member of the Mt. Vernon Lions Club and the Hawthorne Volunteer Fire Dept. He is survived by his devoted wife Uta (nee Hagen) Leonardo of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving children; Kurt Leonardo and his partner Patricia Coleman of Carmel, N.Y., Bryan Leonardo and his wife Maria of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Karen Leonardo of Sebastopol, Calif. and Magdalin Leonardo of Phoenix, AZ. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday 10 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
