Ralph Henry Gentile

Ralph Henry Gentile, age 81, passed away peacefully on Friday April 14th at onslow memorial hospital. Ralph was born in the Bronx N.Y. and grew up with great memories, and wonderful friends. There he met his wife of 60 years, and together they raised 2 children. He worked for the city of N.Y. As a stationary fireman, he worked over 30 years and 20 of those as a union delegate for local 1795. Ralph retired in 1993 and moved to N.C where he spent his time walking the beach, tending to his amazing garden and sharing time with his grandchildren. He was known to all his neighbors and was the first to crack a joke or lend a hand. To those who knew him well, he will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Dolores Mollicone, brothers Raymond and Thomas Gentile, and parents Lena and Romeo Gentile.
Survivor's include, his wife Bernice, his son Ralph Gentile, wife Denise and his 6 grandchildren Brianna Gentile, Alyssa Gentile, Jenna Gentile Kristen Keller, Brittany Mollicone, Steven Mollicone and his 2 great- grandchildren Theodore Keller and Nathaniel Keller. As Ralph would say..
