Ralph R. Benedict, Jr. 58, most recently of Mahwah, N.J. and formerly of Hawthorne
and White Plains, N.Y. died unexpectedly on Feb.3, 2014. He was born on Sept.16, 1955
to the late Ralph and Pauline (nee Meccariello) Benedict in White Plains, N.Y. Ralph was a tax attorney for many years with IBM in Armonk, N.Y. He is survived by his loving children, Ralph Benedict, III and Isabella Benedict both of NJ. one brother, Frederick
(Jane) Benedict of North White Plains and Hawthorne, N.Y. also survived by nieces and
nephews, Sabrina Bengel of New Bern, NC., Deborah Mazza, Norman and Scott Kirtland and Joel, John and Thomas Benedict and several grand nieces and nephews.
brother in law of Benjamin DeFonce. Predeceased by his two sisters, Bernice DeFonce and Susan Benedict Kirtland. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday,
4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 11 AM.
