Rachel A. Carpentieri 76, most recently of Croton, N.Y. and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. died on Nov. 19, 2010 at Hudson Valley Hospital in Peekskill, NY. She was born on July 6, 1934 to the late Antonio and Filomena Sinopoli in Bronx, N.Y. Rachel was predeceased by her devoted husband Anthony Carpentieri in 2004 and one brother Vincenzo Sinopoli. She is survived by her loving sons; Anthony Carpentieri and his wife Linda of Valhalla, N.Y. and Richard Carpentieri and his wife Debbie of Kissimmee, Fla. one sister, Dolly Grillo and her husband John of Manorville, N.Y. Also survived by her seven cherished grandchildren; Danielle, Nicole, Lauren, Richard, Anthony, Francesca and Isabella. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, Sunday (today) 2-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
