Pietro Salvatore Monteleone 64, of North White Plains, N.Y. passed away on Nov.17, 2012. He was born on Jan.6, 1948 to the late Domenico and Rosa (nee Cusato) Monteleone in Gerace, Reggio Calabria, Italy. Pietro proudly worked for the Town of North Castle Highway Department for over 20 years, retiring in 2009. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Antonia (nee Giordano) Monteleone of North White Plains, N.Y. and his loving children, Peter (Rosa) of Valhalla, N.Y. and Roseann (Michael) of North White Plains, N.Y. and his treasured grandchildren, Domenico and Alessia. Loved brother of Maria (Nick) Criniti, Josephine (Joseph) Remo and Salvatore (Maria) Monteleone. Brother-In-Law Gerarda (Gerardo) Masullo. Devoted uncle of Maria LoConte, Joseph Remo, Linda Criniti, Lucy Cicchillo and Sandra Siconolfi. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Monday (today) 4-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Tuesday 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
