Peter J. King

Peter J. King 85, of Montville, N.J. and formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Feb.2, 2021. He was born on Oct.19, 1935 to the late Leo and Loretta (nee Carew) King in Brooklyn, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Peter was a retired Account Mgr. with AT&T in Bedminster, N.J. Peter is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia (nee Finan) King of Montville, N.J. and by his loving children, Peggy (Margaret) (William) Pelosi of Yardley, PA., Patricia Jean (Patrick) Flood of Midlothian, VA and Peter J. (Catharina) King of Denville, N.J. two sisters, Loretta Avella and Jean Marie Ciccone and one brother, Kenny (Pamela) King of NC. also survived by his ten cherished grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother, Jimmy King and one sister, Mary Vorwerk. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb.9, 2021 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Knights of Columbus, Montville, N.J., would be appreciated.
