Peter V Guarno

Peter V. Guarno of Elmsford, NY, died August 25, 2014. He was 85 years old. Peter was born April 16, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Pasquale and Teresa Guarno. Peter worked as an auto mechanic in Elmsford for many years, most recently for Wolff & Munier Inc. He was a lifelong member of the American Italian Club in Elmsford. Surviving are sons, Gary of Elmsford, NY, Richard (Claire) and daughter Gail (Dale) Arditi both of Mount Pleasant, SC. Also surviving are his brother and sister Rose D'Agostino both of Elmsford, NY. Funeral service will be held at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 72 East Main Street, Elmsford, NY Friday at 10am. Interment will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, NY. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
