Pauline Leitgeb

Pauline Leitgeb, 94, of Purchase New York passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 at The Grove in Valhalla, N.Y.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Leitgeb and her parents John Tanki and Theresa (nee Mayer) Tanki.  Pauline was a wonderful wife, aunt and friend.  Pauline had a great love for sewing and traveling.  She spent her career working in the garment district of New York City.  She worked as a seamstress, later as a supervisor.  She will be remembered most for being a wonderful surrogate mother to her eleven nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment to follow.
