Paul Charlan Jasyn of Lake Desolation in Saratoga County passed away over the Thanksgiving holiday. Pre-deceased by his parents Henry and Elizabeth, he is survived by his loving sister Anne Jasyn Breiman, his nephew Zachary, and his niece Alexandra. A Bronx boy at heart, he was a proud member of the Lake Desolation Fire Department and worked happily as a dental technician for over 20 years. Paul will be remembered for his big heart and contagious smile, which was always made brighter by a day fishing at the lake or an afternoon at the Saratoga racetrack. His love of music encompassed everything from Keith Urban to The Beatles, and his sweet disposition had a way of making anyone feel at home in any situation. He will be forever missed by those lucky enough to have known him. The family will receive friends at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains NY on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Ballard-Durand FH on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 11am, with burial following at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
