Patrick J. Sexton

Patrick J. Sexton 88, of White Plains, N.Y. and formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. was received by Our Heavenly Father on Sept. 8, 2018. He was born on Feb. 1, 1930 to the late Thomas and Julia (nee McDonald) Sexton in NYC. He served proudly in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Foreman with NY Telephone Co. in Bronx, N.Y. Patrick is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Evelyn (nee Garvin) Sexton of White Plains, N.Y. and by his loving daughters, Kathleen Sexton-Troiano of Delray Beach, FL., Julie (Michael) Bogdanowicz of Hawthorne, N.Y., Mary (Daniel) Groben of Memphis, TN. and Patricia (Thomas) Carucci of New Castle, N.Y.  also survived by his ten cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Michael, Ian, Sean, Sarah, Christopher, Kelly, Meghan, Patrick , Bridgette and two step grandchildren, Debra and Tara. Predeceased by two brothers, William and Thomas and two sisters, Mary and Sheila. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Francis of Assisi Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, 9:45 AM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN would be appreciated.
