Patrick J. Buckley

Patrick J. Buckley 92, formerly of Pearl River and Bronx, N.Y. died on March 2, 2013 (Ret. NYPD). He was born on Feb.28, 1921 to the late Daniel and Bridget (nee Cummerford) Buckley in NYC. Patrick was a retired Police Detective with NYPD retiring in 1983. He was a member of the NYPD Holy Name Society, Emerald Society and the Detective Endowment Assoc. Patrick was predeceased by his devoted wife Mary (nee Manning) Buckley in 2008, and by his four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving children, Christopher (Anna) Buckley of Hawthorne, N.Y., Rosanne (Dennis) Hanratty of Ellicott City, Maryland, Mary (Edward) McCormick and Patricia Buckley both of Pearl River, N.Y., Therese (Peter) Ulrich of Bronx, N.Y. and Eileen (Paul) Winklemeyer of Tappan, N.Y. Also survived by his ten cherished grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
