Patricia Lynn Rodgers Wallis

Patricia Lynn Rodgers Wallis was born on September 24, 1958 in Morris, IL. She passed away October 28, 2016 in Northern Westchester Hospital while battling pneumonia. Patricia, always a pillar of strength and optimism, was a cancer survivor and was in remission for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her father David "Buddy" Rodgers and her husband, Gary Wallis. She is survived by, until we meet again, her mother, Josephine A. Hume of Stockton, CA, and six siblings: David Rodgers of Cheyenne, WY, Loretta Nevers of League City, TX, Keith Rodgers of Pontiac, IL, Michael Rodgers of Stockton, CA, Paul Rodgers of Sausalito, CA and Jennifer Hume Unick of Las Vegas, NV. Tricia was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend and colleague. She had a genuine smile, profound inner strength and an amazing spirit about her that people instantly fell in love with. She worked hard her entire life in the banking and investment industry. She was passionate about her job and helping her clients succeed. As a result of being experienced in the gift of life, she touched the lives of many who knew her by being authentic, caring, compassionate, wise, witty, accepting and generous. She loved being around children and animals and they all seemed to gravitate to her just the same. All she ever wanted for her loved ones was for them to take care of themselves, create a happy life and to love each other. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester and/or the SPCA of Westchester, her favored charities. A Celebration of Life will be held for Patricia in Spring 2017 at her favorite walking spot at Rockefeller State Preserve in Tarrytown, NY.
