Patricia Caringi

Patricia Caringi 79, of Ossining, N.Y. and formerly of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Nov.12, 2009 at her residence. She was born on June 19, 1930 to the late Clarence and Gertrude (nee Goodspeed) Patnode in Plattsburg, N.Y. Patricia was a retired special education teacher with the Greenburgh School District #7 and previously taught in the Valhalla and Wassaic New York school districts. She was a graduate of SUNY Potsdam Class of 1951. Patricia was predeceased by her devoted husband Joseph J. Caringi in 1998. She is survived by her loving children; Joseph J. Caringi, Jr. of Dandridge, Tenn. and Julie Ann Ristic and her husband Ljubisa of Ossining, N.Y. 1 brother Clarence Patnode of Salt Lake City, Utah. Also survived by her cherished granddaughter Natasha Ristic a sophomore at Ithaca College. Also survived by a niece and nephew. No visiting hours. Graveside services, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Preston High School 2780 Schurz Ave. Bronx, N.Y. 10465.
