Pat (Pasquale) DeBellis 80, of Somers, N.Y. and a former longtime resident of Thornwood, N.Y. died on March 27, 2009 at Seabury at Field Home in Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. He was born on Feb.9, 1929 to the late Cletus and Maria (nee Fuzio) DeBellis in Bari, Italy. Pat was a self employed Civil Engineer and Site Planner in the Westchester County Area and was affiliated with the Architectual Firms of I.M.Pei Architects, The Richard Meyers Group, The Eggers Group and Taylor Clark Assoc. all of NYC. Some of his projects included; The Guggenheim Museum in NYC, Eisenhower Hall in West Point, JFK Library in Boston, Mass. The Art Museum in Atlanta, Ga., The Hilton in
Dubai Egypt and Jim Fowler of the Wildlife Preserve and he assisted in the design of The Kodiak Bear Dens in the Bronx Zoo and The Holy Rosary Church and Rosary Hill Home both in Hawthorne, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary (nee Lanera) DeBellis of Somers, N.Y. His loving sons; Jonathan DeBellis and his wife Karen of Tarpon Springs, Fla. David DeBellis and his wife Andrea of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. and Mark DeBellis and his wife Jodie of Shrub Oak, N.Y. His brothers Guy and Anthony and sisters Nena, Pina, Lilliana, and Clelia all of Bari, Italy. Also survived by his 6 cherished grandchildren; Daniel, Michael, Samantha, Sarah, Matthew and Joseph DeBellis. Predeceased by 1 sister Agnes DeBellis. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
