Pasquale J. Martinucci

Pasquale J. Martinucci 85, formerly of Tarrytown and Valhalla, N.Y. died on March 4, 2019. He was born on Oct. 30, 1933 to the late Angelo and Rose (nee Zarlenga) Martinucci in Bronx, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army Military Police during the Korean Conflict and later he went on to serve as a Police Officer with the NYPD and retired as Sergeant in 1981. Pasquale is survived by his loving children, Michael Angelo (Christina Giannini) Martinucci of Tarrytown, N.Y., Diane Martinucci Francis of Plainfield, IL and Nancy (Steven) Sauro of Armonk, N.Y. one sister, Helen (Steve) Carney of Great Falls, MT, also survived by his six cherished grandchildren, Lauren (David) Gallagher, Bridgette Francis, Ryan Francis, Alessandra Sauro, Danielle Sauro and Natalia Martinucci.  He is also survived by his former wife, Joan Martinucci of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving companion, Trudy Riskin of Hartsdale, N.Y.  Predeceased by his sister and brother in law, Concetta and Richard Gilroy. Visiting at Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, New York on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10 AM, Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting prayers, and or donations to Calvary Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. would be appreciated.
