Pasquale Cardone

Pasquale Cardone, Jr.  89, of Hawthorne, New York passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021. He was born on January 30, 1932 to the late Pasquale and Carmela (nee Camera) in Maspeth, N.Y.

Pat was a carpenter for the Board of Education, City of New York. In his later years he was the preferred carpenter for Pleasantville Cottage School as well as other local establishments both residential and commercial.  He was very proud to be a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Korean War.

Pat was active in the Italian American Club, and  loved to play golf and tennis. He also enjoyed gardening  and investing  in the stock market.

He was very grateful for having such a strong support system including neighbors, friends and healthcare givers.

Pat is survived by his children Richard (Donna) Cardone of Austin, Texas and Patricia (Craig) Chaitoff of Solon, Ohio, and Joseph Cardone of White Plains, New York as well as his brother Edward. Also survived by his three cherished grandchildren, Madeline Cardone and  Alexander(Leanne) and Victoria Chaitoff.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Camille and his brother Michael.

A Memorial will be held on Friday April 1, 2022 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. at 11:30 AM. If you wish to attend please meet at the Cemetery office by 11:15 AM.
