Palmerina (Pam) Kammerer

Palmerina (Pam) Kammerer 95, of Thornwood, N.Y. and most recently of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Jan.28, 2021. She was born on June 11, 1925 to the late Angelo and Angela (nee DelVecchio) Tatananni in Hawthorne, N.Y. Pam was a retired secretary at White Plains Hospital Center. She was an avid gardener and loved golfing and bowling. Pam was a member of the Mount Pleasant Seniors and did volunteer work at White Plains Hospital Center. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Charles F. Kammerer in 2002 and also predeceased by a beloved granddaughter, Kyra Williams in 2013 and eight deceased brothers and sisters. Pam is survived by her loving daughters, Lynn M. (Christopher) Williams of Shaftsbury, VT and Wendy A. (Robert) Guena of Valhalla, N.Y. also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, Genna (David) Byrns, Nicole Guena and Jesse (Michelle) Guena and one great granddaughter, Liliana Guena. Due to the Current World Health Crisis, a Private Family Only Viewing, will be held at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 9 AM, followed by a Private Family Only Funeral Mass at Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s Association, would be appreciated.
