Palma Silvestri

Palma Silvestri 90, of Pleasantville, N.Y. died on June 10,2018. She was born on Sept.12, 1927 to the late Francesco and Margherita Fratarcangeli in Ripi, Italy. She was a retired seamstress and worked for various dress factories in the Bronx and Westchester Areas. She was a great cook, baker and homemaker. Palma was predeceased by her devoted husband, Pietro Silvestri in 2014 and also predeceased by her brother, Piero and sisters, Vincenza and Ada. Palma is survived by her loving daughter, Clara (Remo) Lombardi of Pleasantville, N.Y. and by her two cherished grandchildren, George (Adele) Lombardi and Susan Spivak and five great grandchildren, Paige, George, Andrew, Joanna and Remo. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, N.Y. on Thursday, 10 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y.
