Mrs. Opeyemi Olusanya
was born on 09/23/1961 in Nigeria. She is one of two children. She lived in
Nigeria for most of her young adult life. She migrated to the United States
with her Husband Akinlolu and daughter Oluwaseun in the late 90s. She came to
the U.S in the pursuit of the American dream. From the time of her arrival to
the United States she wasted no time pursing her American dream. She is
survived by her four children Oluwaseun , Oluwatoni, Oluwatumilara,
Oluwawolemiwa and husband Akinlolu.
Opeyemi begin work in
the United States as a security guard for many years before entering the health
care field. She worked in the healthcare field for over 23 years. She worked in
several facilities such as Gold water Memorial Hospital, New York Presbyterian
hospital, and Bronx Lebanon hospital to name the few. She prided herself in
helping people whenever needed, and being a dependable hard worker. She lived
to assist in saving lives and always made people smile. She loved to nurse
patients back to health. She also very much loved the Lord.
Opeyemi believed in
church and everything it stood for. As a woman of God she made sure she kept
the Lord first in her life. She made sure that all of her children did the
same. She was a member of several churches in New York and loved by them all.
Opeyemi lived her life
to the fullest. She always wore a smile, positive energy and had a big dose of optimism
no matter what life threw at her. She leaves behind an amazing legacy. She
leaves us with the blueprint of what being a great Christian, mother, wife and
person should be.
Opeyemi Passed away on
01/26/2015. Her services will be held at Ballard and Durand Funeral Home in
White Plains, NY on 02/20/2015 5p.m-9p.m & 02/21/2015 8a.m-10a.m
Opeyemi will always be
missed ,loved, and remembered… Forever.
