Oliver J. Flood

Oliver J. Flood 81, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Jan.17,2020 at his residence. He was born on July 30,1938 to the late Philip and Ellen (nee McGearty) Flood in County Cavan, Ireland. He worked for Wassestine Bro’s Air Conditioning & Heating in NYC. Oliver is survived by his devoted wife, Bridget (nee O’Brien) Flood of Valhalla, N.Y. and his loving children, Kerry Ann (Terrence) Sullivan and Deirdre (Charles) Sullivan both of Valhalla, N.Y. and Sean (Kim) Flood of Ossining, N.Y. also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren, Casey, Hope, Mikey, Jack, Jamie, Shealyn and Gavin. Predeceased by four sisters and three brothers. Oliver was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all. Oliver was an avid soccer player. Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
