Olita Mary Romito

Olita (Lee) Romito Born Olita Mary Corvi on October 6, 1928, in Tomaqua, PA. Family moved to NYC, then settled in the Bronx where she met her husband Matthew A. Romito and raised their four children. After raising her children, she returned to the workforce and started a thirty year career in the insurance field as a Head Seborgrator.  Lee had an extensive career, but never allow it to conflict with her greatest love and passion for her family.  Lee was always there for every important event in her life, be it a Celebration or in Grievances. Olita was the Matriacrch of the family, and surrgogate mother to all of her nieces and nephew, for she outlived all of her siblings and in-laws. Lee will always be remembered by those for her generosity, understanding, compassionate, dependability and kindness. She is survived by her three sons, Matthew, Ronald and Thomas. (Lost her daughter Suzzane in 1980)as well as her two grandchildren Matthew Jr., Nicole, and three great-grandchildren, Layla, Gianna and Henrick. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Hawthorne Funeral Home from 9-12PM. Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lee's favorite cause for the "Disabled Veterans"
