Norma P. Cody

Norma P. Cody 82, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on April 4, 2021 surrounded by her family at her residence. She was born on April 13, 1938 to the late Michael and Carmela (nee Montillo) Pizzolanella in Bronx, N.Y. She was an avid cook, loved to sew and was a member of the Mount Pleasant Seniors. Norma was predeceased by her devoted husband, James J. Cody in 2004 and by her beloved son, Stephen Cody in 2016 and also predeceased by her sisters, Phyllis Egan and Vivian Gagliano. Norma is survived by her loving children, James (Donna) Cody of Hawthorne, N.Y.., Elaine Lyons (Anthony Beja) of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Vivian Cody (Tony Stella) of Hawthorne, N.Y. two sisters, Dolores Malizio of Mohegan Lake, N.Y. and Celeste (Edward) Palumbo of Thornwood, N.Y. also survived by her four cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth Cody, Caitlyn and Mary Lyons and Kelli Beja. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinsons.org, would be appreciated.
