Norma H. Acrivos

Norma H. Acrivos 91, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on March 12, 2010 at her residence. She was born on June 14, 1919 to the late Ciro and Enea Azzari in New York City. Norma worked for many years as a telephone operator for New York Telephone Co. in Bronx, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Harry Acrivos in 1974, 1 sister, Inez Corsini and 4 brothers, Hugo, Reno, Almo and Robert Azzari. Norma is survived by her 2 beloved brothers; Peter Azzari of Commack, N.Y. and Walter Azzari of Englishtown, N.J. 2 loving longtime friends; Anita Hickey and Lucy Castaldo both of Hawthorne, N.Y. Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
