Nina Cavallero

Nina Cavallero 92, of Sleepy Hollow and formerly of White Plains, N.Y. On September 6, 2009 after a brief illness. Devoted wife to Joseph (George) Cavallero for 68 years and loving mother of George and Lillian of Mt.Kisco, N.Y. Linda and Andreas Laddis of Shrewsbury, MA. And John and Mary of White Plains, N.Y. Grandmother to Paul addis of La Jolla, CA., Stephen Laddis of Cambridge, MA. Joseph and Katherine Cavallero of Mt.Kisco, N.Y. and Lisa and Michael Cavallero Of White Plains, N.Y. She was a graduate of Hunter College and received a Masters Degree in Romance Languages from NYU. She was a high school Spanish and Social Studies teacher for many years at St.Peter's High School in Staten Island. She retired in 1977 and moved to White Plains, N.Y. and later to Kendal-on-Hudson in Sleepy Hollow. The family will receive visitors at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-5 PM. where funeral services will be held 4 PM. Interment will be private at White Plains Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Kendal-on-Hudson 1 Kendal Way Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. 10591 would be appreciated.
